What is a ROM elbow brace?
A ROM (range of movement) elbow brace is designed to support the elbow joint after injury. With this particular brace, the position isn't fixed in the sense that the range of motion (ROM) can be adjusted simply by changing the hinge settings. This controls how much the elbow joint can move.
What are the benefits of wearing this elbow brace?
Firstly, the brace protects the elbow from worsening the injury as it limits how much you can move the elbow. This in turn, helps the elbow to heal and the ligaments aren't being disturbed as much. Also, the brace is comfortable to wear due to the padded lining and adjustable cuffs, which allow to user to find the perfect fit. As you can change the hinge settings, you can gradually increase the ROM overtime as the elbow heals, which can help the elbow slowly recover to normal.
How does the brace work?
The brace has four straps which can be adjusted to fit your arm comfortably. The hinge dial should be aligned to the elbow joint. When the straps have been fastened and the brace is in place, you can adjust the Flexion and Extension limitations so you can only move the arm up to those limits. You can also switch on the 'lock' button, which keep the elbow at a specific angle with no ROM so it is completely immobilised and static in that position. This make is a great option to have post-op, as you can keep it immobilised for right after the operation to help it heal using the lock button. Then, to gradually increase your ROM, you can use the limitations and gradually increase these overtime to eventually restore your usual ROM.

HOW QUICKLY WILL MY ORDER BE DESPATCHED?
All orders placed Monday - Friday before 2pm are despatched the same day. Orders placed after 2pm, will be despatched the next working day (Mon - Fri). Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday or over the weekend, will be despatched the following Monday (excluding bank holidays).
Kindly note that when your parcel is in the hands of the courier, it is out of our direct control and as such we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the courier.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We ship to Europe using Parcelforce and your local postal service provider. If you want to order an item to get it to a location outside of Europe, we would suggest using a forwarding company, or you are welcome to organise the postage yourself. If you would like to organise for a shipping company like Hermes, FEDEX, DHL etc to collect the parcel from us to deliver to your destination, please contact us so we can prepare the order for collection.

The tracking for my order shows it has been delivered but I have not received it. What should I do?

What do I do if I have missed my delivery?
Royal Mail or Parcelforce (depending on the delivery service chosen) should have left a calling card. Please give them a call or visit their site as instructed on the card to book a redelivery or collection. If you have any trouble, please contact us so we can help you.
