SYRINGA UK Ltd (The Company)
1. PRICES
All prices are subject to change without notice and subject to a delivery charge specified at the time of ordering and any free delivery offers would only apply to the United Kingdom and could be withdrawn at any time without notice. Orders placed during special offers will be honoured on that date and time providing there’s available stock. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all orders are executed subject to prices ruling at the date of dispatch and no price list of the Company, whether published or not, shall affect the right of the Company to charge for the goods in accordance with this clause. The delivery charges on internet orders are based on delivery in UK mainland (excluding some post codes) so there will be extra charges if delivery is required elsewhere. The Customer will be informed of the total price of the order before the order becomes binding and if there are any price changes before delivery then the Customer will have the option of cancelling their order and getting their money back. Any clerical error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list (including the Internet), acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by the Company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the Company. Web site prices may be different to retail prices.
2. ORDERS
Web orders may be placed 24/7. Please see Section: 5 for delivery details. We try to process all orders as quickly as possible, usually within 1 working day of receipt of order and payment, unless items are out of stock. Internet orders will only be despatched once payment is received.
For trade account customers, our payment terms are strictly 30 days. If an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you an alternative or a refund or to place it on back-order. For this reason it is important you give us a correct phone number or email address. Confirmation of telephone instructions should be clearly marked as such.
3. PAYMENTS
All payments are in UK pound sterling. We accept all major Credit / Debit cards through PayPal as well as Pay Pal account payments. In the case of goods purchased by credit card, the validation and checking is done through the PayPal service. We also verify abnormal orders and requests for card payments. All credit card details are held in the PayPal system and we only receive a transaction reference. Our server DOES NOT store card details.
For trade account customers, our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Please contact Syringa UK Ltd at sales@syringa-uk.co.uk to open a trade account.
4. CANCELLATION
The Customer has the right to cancel an order and receive a full refund of the price of the product(s), excluding the shipping charge which is not refundable, paid to the Company from the moment the order is confirmed up to and including 7 working days from date of receipt of the delivered products providing the products are returned to the Company unopened, unused, in the original packaging and in a resalable condition. Naturally, in the interests of both the Customer and the Company, the Company would appreciate due notice of intended order cancellation before the products are dispatched for delivery since the Customer would be responsible for the cost of returning the products once they are dispatched.
5. DELIVERY
All orders must be placed before 14H00 for same day despatch.
Delivery dates and times are given in good faith by the Company to indicate estimated delivery dates and times but shall not amount to any contractual obligation to deliver at the date and time stated and is subject to payment clearance, locality, human error, Royal Mail or courier company error, delay and system failure. The Company will accept no liability for direct or consequential loss or damage arising from delay in delivery or if the Customer is not in to sign for the delivery. In the instance of collection orders paid for by credit card, the cardholder must be present before or on collection.
Items with FREE delivery go out as 'Standard' delivery. All 'Standard' orders are despatched with Royal Mail Class 2, which is a 3 to 5 day service operating on Monday to Friday as per Royal Mail's standard terms and conditions. However, Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 days under this service option.
'Next Day' deliveries are at an additional cost and only applicable in the United Kingdom. 'Next Day' deliveries operate on Monday to Friday only and do NOT include a Saturday delivery.
Orders placed on Friday before 14H00 through 'Next Day' service, will be despatched the same day and delivered the next working day (Monday to Friday).
Orders requiring a Saturday delivery MUST have the Saturday Delivery option chosen since the 24-hour delivery options pertain to Monday to Friday deliveries only.
'Next Day' delivery orders received after 14H00 on Friday (or the last working day if Friday was a bank holiday), and during the weekend, will be despatched the following Monday and if Monday is a bank holiday, then on the next working day. Delivery will be the day after despatch.
Please note: we cannot guaranty 'Next Day' delivery since we use either Parcelforce or Royal Mail and cannot be held responsible for this third party's performance or lack thereof. Royal Mail 24 does not guaranty 'Next Day' delivery but strongly endeavours to do so. We do not reimburse our customers for a late delivery if we have dispatched the order timeously, without delay and according to your instructions. We process all orders as quickly as possible, usually the same working day or by the next working day if orders are received after the 14H:00 cut-off, unless items are out of stock (see 2. ORDERS). The Company can help you find out why your delivery is late, but any complaints you might have regarding a late delivery should be taken up with Parcelforce or Royal Mail since you have been let down by the courier's service, and not the Company's.
All product weights for delivery are calculated including any product packaging. If you are unable to accept your delivery on the day that we inform you it will arrive, Royal Mail will leave a ‘Something for you' card at the delivery address. This shows the address and opening hours of the local delivery office for you to go and collect it at. We cannot be held responsible for any spoilage or loss of your goods if you were not there to receive/sign for your delivery. Likewise, Parcelforce will leave a card for you to follow up on. You may monitor the progress of your delivery by entering the tracking number you are provided by email upon parcel despatch into Royal Mail or Parcelforce's website.
Trade account customers are eligible for free delivery, UK mainland, on any order over £60.00 excl. VAT. The appropriate shipping method must be selected by the customer at check-out.
6. DISCLAIMER
The user solely assumes the responsibility of maintaining his/her medication at the required temperature. Furthermore, the user assumes the responsibility of using the devices, such as but not limited to, blood pressure monitors, nebulisers, thermometers and so on, according to the instruction manuals and shall not alter the product or misuse them in any way. In no event shall Syringa UK Ltd be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages, to property, medication or life, whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of any of the products we sell.
7. DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT AND SHORTAGES
Any damage to goods in transit should be notified to the carriers immediately and to the Company within 24 hours of receipt. Packaging and contents must be held for inspection.
8. VALUE ADDED TAX
Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the relevant rate at the date of dispatch, on all VATable items and shall be included in the invoice.
9. REFUND POLICY
The Company endeavours at all times to ensure the products are of the highest standard. The Customer has 14 days to inspect the products to ensure the order complies with The Sale of Goods Act 1979. If the Customer would like to return the products, please let us know in writing by email to customercare@syringa-uk.co.uk, within 14 days of having received the products. We will gladly process a refund providing the products are returned to the Company unopened, unused, in the original packaging and in a resalable condition. We can only accept returns on socks, supports and orthotics if the packaging has not been opened and the product has not been worn due to hygiene reasons. Any requests for refunds must be made within 14 days of receipt of the delivery. Outward delivery charges are not included in the refund policy and the cost of returning goods is the Customer’s responsibility as per the The Consumer Contracts Regulations. The Customer has a further 14 days to return the products. Products returned after 14 days will be refunded at the discretion of the company. Products that are returned to the Company by the courier or Royal Mail as being either 'undeliverable' or 'refused' will attract an admin fee and a returned postage fee. This amount will be deducted from the refundable amount due to the Customer.
10. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS
All promotions and discounts issued by the Company shall be subject to correction or cancellation without notice and without any liability on the part of the Company.
11. PRIVACY
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information we collect from you lawfully and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679. The information collected from customers when signing up, is used for billing and administrative purposes only and is kept highly confidential. Other than Royal Mail or the courier who, for obvious reasons, would need your name and address, your details are never shared with third parties.
Syringa UK Ltd has no access to or knowledge of, your bank account details or your PayPal details, since our website directs you through to those payment portals for the payment process before being returning to our site.
Contact information collected will be your contact details (name, delivery address, email and telephone number) and payment method; none of which will be passed on to third parties. You can check the information we hold about you by emailing us.

Otherwise your personal information will be held securely in accordance with the law.
Cookie Information: the two cookies used in the MediGenix site are as follows:
1.) PHPSESSID - Contains a PHP "session ID" which expires when the browser is closed. The "PHPSESSID" cookie is required so the site can recognise the same user clicking from page to page. Without it, every page would be treated as the first visit to the site, and anything added to the shopping basket would be instantly forgotten. Online shopping would therefore, be impossible.
2.) Session - Contains a PHP "session ID" which can also contain an email address and encrypted password. This expires after one year. The "session" cookie is intended for the user's convenience. The MediGenix site creates this with a copy of the initial session ID so the user can be classed as "returning" and the contents of their shopping basket will still be available. If the user signs in with an email address and password, these login details are also saved so they can remain logged in when returning (the password is encrypted). If the user signs out, their login details are removed from the cookie.
Any other cookies are created by 3rd party scripts, such as Google Analytics and any information about the cookies they use can be obtained through them. When visitors use our website, information such as the ISP's domain, the time accessed and the pages visited will be stored by us simply to analyse the web traffic and improve content of the site.

12. SECURITY
We have an effective security policy that we review regularly. As explained above under PRIVACY, all credit card details that are entered by you the Customer are done so on a secure server and are not available to anyone else and nor are they stored by us.
