Humalog
According to the manufacturer, Eli Lilly and Company, unopened Humalog should be stored in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Once open, Humalog vials, cartridges, and KwikPen should be stored at room temperature, below 30°C and must be used within 28 days or be discarded. Vials can also be refrigerated for 28 days once in use. When travelling, storage is dependant on whether or not the medicine is already in use.
It is important to always check with your doctor before travelling with your medicine.
