MultiCare-IN meter is the ideal device for testing cholesterol, glucose and triglyceride levels at the comfort of your home. It's very important to monitor these as dangerous levels rarely display symptoms until it's too late. By monitoring them, you can take control of your health.
This multi-functional meter is really easy to use. You simply change which strip you use to measure either cholesterol, glucose or triglyceride. To ensure accurate results you can change the settings to choose either 'Male' or 'Female' and 'Fasting' or 'No Fasting'. It only requires a small blood sample; 8µL for the cholesterol and triglyceride strips and 0.5µL for the glucose strips. There is also a short measuring time of only 30 seconds for the cholesterol and triglyceride strips and less than 5 seconds for the glucose strips. To help you monitor and compare your levels, the meter has a 500 measurement memory which also records the date and time of when the measurement was taken.

Why should I monitor my cholesterol, glucose and triglyceride levels?
It's really important to monitor each of these things as if you have unhealthy levels of each, they can be a serious health risk. Also, if your levels are too high, there aren't always any symptoms so you may be completely unaware. As much as our bodies need cholesterol, too much of it in our blood can be fatal. It can prevent blood from flowing through the arteries so they become deprived of everything they need to function. This can lead to heart disease. Keeping track of glucose is important for diabetics or if you are at risk of developing diabetes. This is because high levels of glucose can lead to heart, vision and nerve problems.Triglycerides store unused calories which can lead to hardening of the arteries and increase the risk of stroke, heart disease and heart attacks. By monitoring these you can know if you need to take action to improve them.
Does the machine measure total cholesterol? Does it break it down for LDL and HDL?
Yes, the machine measures total cholesterol but it doesn't provide a reading for LDL or HDL.

HOW QUICKLY WILL MY ORDER BE DESPATCHED?
All orders placed Monday - Friday before 2pm are despatched the same day. Orders placed after 2pm, will be despatched the next working day (Mon - Fri). Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday or over the weekend, will be despatched the following Monday (excluding bank holidays).
Kindly note that when your parcel is in the hands of the courier, it is out of our direct control and as such we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the courier.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We ship to Europe using Parcelforce and your local postal service provider. If you want to order an item to get it to a location outside of Europe, we would suggest using a forwarding company, or you are welcome to organise the postage yourself. If you would like to organise for a shipping company like Hermes, FEDEX, DHL etc to collect the parcel from us to deliver to your destination, please contact us so we can prepare the order for collection.

The tracking for my order shows it has been delivered but I have not received it. What should I do?

What do I do if I have missed my delivery?
Royal Mail or Parcelforce (depending on the delivery service chosen) should have left a calling card. Please give them a call or visit their site as instructed on the card to book a redelivery or collection. If you have any trouble, please contact us so we can help you.
